I didn't find any of today's songs myself. The first I found on our friend Grace's blog:
It's Over by Milosh
The second is a mash up series that our friend Caitlin aka C-Mac - who runs the cool blog Smile Like You Mean It - sent to me. The series is titled Jaydiohead. Here are two examples:

Bonus point - the Jaydiohead mashup 99 Anthems largely works as a Jay-Z remix... Radiohead influence is less pronounced than the above two however
ReplyDeleteLOVE Jaydiohead - super sweet mashup. Thanks for the linkity, you can always find my music tastes and finds from the week on my Tumblr blog through this link: (http://gracekboyle.tumblr.com/search/music)
ReplyDeleteYou can't give yourself a bonus point; I call shenanigans.
ReplyDeleteGood finds with Jaydiohead...you're not wrong and get 4/5 opposite of this face.
I can give myself whatever bonus points I want. In fact, bonus point for me for agitating you with the extraneous bonus points. Because just like in Whose Line Is It Anyway, the points don't matter.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite running gags on FIWK is Scott's linking to happy faces and his doing it wrong links. There's just so many ways you can take that joke.
Grace - I love that Tumblr blog you run. The top two photos (little Greek man and the pomegranate macro) are fantastic. And the song. It's like an all-in-one cool stuff blog.
ReplyDeleteSo, I clicked on the three songs twice (to open the YouTube page) and thought I paused the second two, but I didn't realize for 30 seconds or so that I was listening to all three at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI guess they all sounded ok. I don't know what that says about my enjoyment of or lack of knowledge regarding mashups.
