Music Tuesdays - Doubt by Links
I'm going extremely niche with this one - Links is a local LA band. Their website has some songs but I can't get them to play, so you're better off going to their YouTube channel, Linksisaband (which is a funny name)
You got any recommendations this week? Anything really local maybe?

I enjoy their song Cold Water also
ReplyDeleteI made it 32 seconds before pausing it. At some point I will learn that we just have completely different tastes in music. Apparently not this time and probably not next time. Maybe the time after that, but more likely the time after that.
ReplyDeleteBut I really liked the last song, so I will give you a 5 song grace period (#12). If I like a song, I will make sure to give the next five songs a chance. So here I go to listen to the entire Links song.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna have to agree 50/50 with Aaron here. The first 30 seconds intrigued me enough to listen to the rest of "Doubt" (which, I enjoyed more than "Cold Water"), which earned a respectable 3 happy faces.
ReplyDeleteIn regards to good music to share, I've got none right now, so I'll only take things off the table today (scroll down to "The Table Test").
Ok, I liked the song from 2:40 to the end, but in general I would not make it to that point. And Scott, how are you agreeing with me? I completely disliked the beginning of the song.
ReplyDeleteWell - it was a sort of agreement with your first comment (didn't like the song too much, as opposed to you hating it), and then full agreement with your second comment (grace period).
ReplyDeleteI'm also happy we were both able to show our nerdness by referencing two Sports Guy concepts in our responses to Royce.
This entire song choice has been worth if only to see you guys drop salient Sports Guy links and try to find the most efficient way to describe WHAT in his ginormous articles you were linking to, exactly.
ReplyDeleteTruthfully this isn't my favorite song ever. I like but don't love it. I put it up because they're super local and I thought it was interesting and different.
