  1. Like this song a lot. Grace has been on fire with the good music finds lately - thanks Grace!

Just based on the band name, Passion Pit sounds like the twin brother of Temper Trap

  2. Thanks Royce. I'll keep 'em coming.

When I first heard about Passion Pit I typed in passionpit.com and well, it's not the band's site. I will just say that.

You should check out the rest of their tracks, they're amazing. They're also on tour now so check them out! Thanks for having me guys.

  3. Hahaha ouch Grace, walked right into the old "right name, wrong site" porno URL trap =/

Sleepyhead has hit the short list of recent songs that I cannot stop listening to

One big reason for that is it does a great job of evoking a really specific sound and mood, which as we know is a trait I love in music. So despite the chipmunks in the vocals I can't get enough of it.

I also like how the little 'acid turntable' riff basically functions as the chorus... that's how you know you wrote a catchy riff!

    Thanks again Grace!

  4. Aside from not understanding a single word the dood says (this, btw, makes me feel old), I enjoyed this. It's definitely got a head-bobbing feel to it, and that's always nice. However, I feel as though the songs ends prematurely.

Overall, a solid 4/5 happy faces.

[On a side note, the double-call out about passionpit.com enticed me to check it out more than if it weren't explicitly called out.]

  5. If I heard the song without seeing the video, I may not have enjoyed it. That guys voice totally does not match his face.

But the video really is great...is it a series of photographs? An old very slow film camera? All done with computers? How did they time the claps?

I would say this is one of the better music videos I have seen in a long time...mostly from a perspective that the song and the video really don't stand up on their own.
