Probably the ONLY thing I don't like about this song is the fact that the YouTube video feels like it ends about 10 seconds before the end of the actual song... I love everything about this song

ReplyDeleteI love Florence + The Machine. Check out the rest of their stuff...this song in particular moves me and ALSO is in the trailer for Eat, Pray, Love (favorite book, favorite story) so I'm all mushy and want to be wanderlusting and traveling. SO, thanks Florence + The Machine :)
Meh - it's a bit too 60's folky for me (and this is not even taking into account the video!); not that this is necessarily a bad thing, but it's not doing it for me this morning (Florence's voice sounds straight out of the 60s for me).

I like how a "Meh" still gets a 3.5 on the Borden Happy Faces Scale. The scale only goes from 3-5, ladies and gentlemen!

ReplyDeleteMusic related update! It has come to my attention that the Vatican has a MySpace Music playlist - I shit you not - and you WILL NOT BELIEVE some of the choices on there. I have no words.
ReplyDeleteThis song has been on repeat in our apartment for the past week, ever since we saw the Eat Pray Love trailer. Hold on while I watch this video 19 times. Yeah, I maybe have a little problem. Whatever. Shhh.
