Music Tuesdays - Lionhearted by Porter Robinson

Really loving this song, and the interesting video for it - but there are a lot of unanswered questions here.  Why does his team of color-shooters turn on him?  How come their guns turn everything else crazy colors, but when they shoot him, he actually dies?  He didn't even get to have crazy colors blood?

Music Tuesdays - Happy by Pharrell Williams

This song is everywhere nowadays, and it's just super fun.  Kind of the perfect pop song.

Music Tuesdays - Elevate by St Lucia (live on Kimmel)

I'm a St. Lucia fan in general, and I thoroughly enjoyed this performance of theirs on Kimmel last week.  Strong work by them.

Music Tuesdays - Falling by Haim

Haim (sounds like 'rhyme') is blowing up right now, I really enjoy their recent album, I predict Aaron won't like them, and that is all.

Music Tuesdays - Her Morning Elegance by Oren Lavie

Really fun video for this song.  One of the best we've seen on the site?  At least since Gangnam Style, right?

Music Tuesdays - DNA by Empire of the Sun

This song comes from a new album by Empire of the Sun, who are from Australia.  Incidentally, this is one of the first recommendations we had on a Music Tuesday post, recommended by our friend C-Mac.

To me, this is the one song from the new album that really holds up to their two previous hits "We Are the People" and "Walking On A Dream".  Digging it.

Music Tuesdays - The Walker by Fitz & The Tantrums

I'm using the Jimmy Kimmel Live performance of this song because I think it's more fun when you can see the energy of the performance (the album version on YouTube currently has no video).

The Fitz & The Tantrums album has an astonishing number of fun songs.  I feel like it has the largest number of radio-friendly songs since like a Lady Gaga album or something.  I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far.

Music Tuesdays - Warrior by Mark Foster, A-Trak and Kimbra

This song is interesting in that it was apparently sponsored by Converse as a marketing effort.  It features Kimbra and Mark "Foster the People" Foster as well as DJ A-Trak. I feel like our friend and 'Real Bullets Branding' marketing guru Caitlin McCabe would find this strategy interesting.

Music Tuesdays - The Roller by Beady Eye

Beady Eye is the new band formed by the members of Oasis after Noel Gallagher left Oasis in 2009. Quick refresher: Noel Gallagher was the brother who did most of the songwriting for Oasis, while Liam Gallagher was the lead singer.

Music Tuesdays - Fader by the Temper Trap

Another fun song by the Temper Trap, creators of the iconic song "Sweet Disposition" (2nd song listed) which anchored the movie 500 Days of Summer. Fun fact: I always get Temper Trap and Passion Pit confused because their names are so similar.

Music Tuesdays - Favela Rock by Afrobots

Warning - This song gets in your head and becomes kind of annoying. But it's still kinda fun. Yes, I absolutely got this song from the FIFA 10 soundtrack.
