Music Tuesdays - The Struggle (RAC remix) by Grizfolk
This song has been on consistent repeat on my playlist for a few months now. I love this song and, as usual, RAC has done magic with their remix by bringing out the most essential and interesting parts of the song. I love that way that RAC reimagines songs in their remixes. I'll have to write at length about this soon.
Music Tuesdays - Better At Making Time by De Lux
I have been listening to this song on the regular for weeks now, but for some reason it didn't occur to me make it a FIWK song. I guess it was just too ingrained in the fabric of my routine for me to even realize.
The Talking Heads vibe of this band is something I really dig, plus the catchiness of the song. The latter makes for a pretty entertaining video gimmick also. Their taciturn musicianship in his house cracks me up.
Music Tuesdays - Lights Go Down by WAZ
This week, a super new song by an artist named WAZ. I really enjoy this song, it's been playing a lot on KCRW. In fact, if you go to their music blog right now, it is available as a free download.

Music Tuesdays - Veranda (Rac remix) by Cillie Barnes
This just started playing on KCRW lately... I didn't know who Cillie Barnes was, but I really enjoy most Rac remixes of songs, and I dig this one. Great vibe.
Music Tuesdays - Holy Roller by Thao and the Get Down Stay Down
It took me a little while to realize this is the same Thao [Nguyen] formerly of Thao & Mirah, whose songs I enjoyed. Love the band name "the Get Down Stay Down". I heard them perform this song on KCRW and I think I enjoy the energy of their live performance of the song a bit more than the record version, but this video just makes me smile.
Thao also has a really nice "Tiny Desk Concert at NPR Music" on YouTube that I enjoyed.

Music Tuesdays - Little Numbers by BOY
This song has been getting a lot of play on KCRW lately - and I absolutely love it. My favorite song in a while. The band is called BOY but is apparently composed of girls. Kind of like a reverse Barenaked Ladies situation.
Music Tuesdays - Heavy Feet by Local Natives
Really, really enjoying this song by Local Natives. They will be performing on KCRW this week I believe.

Music Tuesdays - When My Train Pulls In by Gary Clark Jr
That is a rocking performance (thanks to KCRW for recording it). Actually what would you say: is this more rock, more blues, or just bluesy rock?
Music Tuesdays - Mirrorage by Glasser
Yes, another quasi-haunting female vocalist. I am becoming a parody of myself with my music choices.
