Music Tuesdays - DNA by Empire of the Sun
This song comes from a new album by Empire of the Sun, who are from Australia. Incidentally, this is one of the first recommendations we had on a Music Tuesday post, recommended by our friend C-Mac.
To me, this is the one song from the new album that really holds up to their two previous hits "We Are the People" and "Walking On A Dream". Digging it.

Empire of the Sun finally has a video for this song, which I love. So I've replaced it in the above.
ReplyDeleteI love these guys. How they manage to be 'out there' (videos, clothes) and 'normal' (sound) at the same time is impressive. However, I do wish they took a few more creative risks with their sound to push the envelope a bit more.
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree with that point, particularly with their most recent album. Played it a little too safe versus what I was hoping for.
